Elk Fajitas



  • 500 gr (approx. 1 lb.)  ground elk                             
  • 1 medium onion                                            
  • 2 tsp. fajitas spice mix
  • 4 tbsp. water                                     
  • 5 tortillas
  • Fajitas sauce
  • Grated cheese
  • Diced tomato and lettuce
  • Salt and pepper to taste




Brown the meat and the finely chopped onion. Add the spices and the water. Simmer over medium heat until the preparation reaches a certain consistency without being moist. Heat the tortillas bread for about 30 seconds in the microwave.

Place the ingredients in the following order: the tortillas, the sauce, the meat, the cheese, the lettuce and the tomato. Fold three sides of the bread to shape it like an envelope.
